Software Engineer (C++, C#, .Net) - Ripple Effect Quality Engineering

Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.
As a Software Engineer, you'll need in-depth understanding of the development lifecycle from concept to project sunset. You will need to have a wide range of programming expertise and will have the opportunity to work with our frostbite engine code.
You will build and support tools that expand and improve both development workflows and the QA verification processes. This will require you to work with both the Development team and the QV organization.
As part of Ripple Effect, you will be assisting and supporting the studio's automated testing needs and help troubleshoot any issues that may arise, reporting to the Technical Director of Ripple Effect QE.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, support, and own automation, tools, and services.
- Perform code reviews and be willing to pair and mentor other team members.
- Help develop and maintain automation and automation infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent training and professional experience
- 3+ years experience with C++, C#, or .Net
- Experience with SCM tools (Perforce, Git)
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of SQL or variants
- Experience with use of build management tools, e.g., Jenkins
- Test, debug, and extend other Software Engineer's code competently
- Competent in object-oriented design and implementation
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices
- Understanding of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization
- Learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions
- Demonstrate dependability and self-direction to project tasks
