Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Publishing - GPS Studio

The Role

As a Software Engineer (Full Stack) in Global Player Support (GPS), you make a direct and measurable impact on Riot's ability to protect the total player experience. If you enjoy solving player pain you should join us!

You will work directly with game teams across Riot to integrate new features into our support platform that powers our player support agent-facing tooling, internal Riot-facing tools, and player-facing self-service systems.

You will report to a Software Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop inside of full stack platform(s) that integrate with hundreds of services and teams across the company.
• Build features used worldwide by multiple different customer types.
• Work on a diverse, cross-functional team that contributes to the support and operations of multiple games.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Be autonomous in executing your responsibilities, meeting expectations, and applying your player empathy to influence what experiences we provide or pain points we solve.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a full stack Software Engineer
• Experience with backend service Object-Oriented programming
• Experience developing with TypeScript and ReactJS or similar languages and libraries.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using AWS and Docker.
• Experience developing with Java and GraphQL.
• Experience working with global customer support organizations
• Experience developing tooling for non-technical customers.
