The commerce and identity team is part of EADP (EA Digital Platform) which develops one of the largest eCommerce and Identity platforms to power hundreds of cross-platform games played by hundreds of millions of players. The distributed online platform provides foundation services to games including identity management, authentication, authorization, account security, subscription, billing, payment, virtual currency, provisioning, entitlement, risk and fraud at 24x7 with 99.99% reliability. Open-source cutting-edge technologies are widely used such as docker, MySQL, MemCached, Redis, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and Spark. Responsibilities:
- You will work with a mentor and program managers to understand our requirements and translate those into technical designs.
- Participate in technical design and implementation of features.
- Design underlying database schema, interface, and plan for capacity.
- Implement high quality code with comprehensive unit testing.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies which improve the team efficiency and platform capabilities.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Familiar with one of programing languages such as Java, C# or C++
- Solid computer science background including Algorithm, Data Structure, Operation System, Database.
- Passionate to be a full-stack engineer and improve distributed online system
- Apply CS fundamental knowledge to solve complex problems
- Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
HOURLY PAY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $30 - $50
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $25 - $35
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $41 - $50
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $30 - $44
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $41 - $50
The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).
