Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to design, implement and deliver mid-size features. Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience writing Golang and Java code for applications and libraries. Prior experience must include two (2) years of implementing HTTP and WebSocket based web services in Golang and Java; writing script and executing load test using testing tools including JMeter and Gatling; storing, retrieving and changing data used by applications and web services in databases including Cassandra, Couchbase and cloud based storage including Amazon S3 and Akamai NetStorage; working with different deployment strategies including AWS Lambda and Kubernetes for deploying, scaling and managing applications and web services; and, utilizing Java, Eclipse, Docker, Version Control System, agile software development methodologies, Spring, Apache Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Junit, TestNG, and AWS.
