Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to create and shape strategic platform technologies deployed and leveraged globally. Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining consumer-facing media software features. Prior experience must include two (2) years of developing real time, efficient and highly scalable APIs; designing and implementing highly available and highly scalable new backend services; developing tools related to performance analysis and optimization; building infrastructures of micro-services and CI/CD pipelines; developing high scale, distributed applications; working with software network technologies to optimize data structures; participating in technical deep dives into code and deployments; working with C/C++/Java, REST services, and highly scalable server backend systems; and, using relational and other technologies including cloud based applications and managed services.
