Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to develop software applications and add telemetry to understand, troubleshoot and improve performance, Time-to-Interactive KPIs (TTIs) and user-facing error rates. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience developing test frameworks and setting up automation infrastructures using Python programming language. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience authoring common APIs and libraries for test automation using software tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Git; designing and documenting test plans, test designs and test executions using test management tools; drafting and implementing program test cases, test plans, and test scripts, and performing GAP and Impact analysis; designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment tools, including Docker and GitHub, and Atlassian tools, including Jira with Jenkins; designing isolated and controlled development environments to test products prior to release; and utilizing streaming video services, including promotional and user generated content, and machine learning-based recommendations and advertisements during integration testing. Alternately, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$140,415 — $188,600 USD
