Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Description
You will join a team whose objective is to provide the best Identity Service for our customers as well as our business stakeholders. As the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, documentation, and implementation of security policies with a focus on identity and access management technologies.
Responsibilities:
- You will contribute to the success of the Identity team to build solutions using technologies such as OAuth, OIDC and SAML on the OKTA platform.
- You will deliver high quality, well-written code that is quickly understood, easily supported, and maintained.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong IAM product and service vendor relationships.
- Participate in architectural reviews and architectural development as an Okta subject matter expert.
- Integrate IAM systems with identity governance solutions such as Saviynt/SailPoint, in-house applications, third party applications and SaaS applications for provisioning, identity authentication, and developing connectors between IAM tools and system resources.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years directly related experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Design, build, test, and document implementations involving Okta, including SSO, MFA, Okta Access Gateway, API Access Manager, and application configuration and support.
- Expertise in automation and at least one programming language (Go, NodeJS).
- Experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript.
- Leverage your understanding of various protocols (SAML, OAUTH/OIDC, KERBEROS, SCIM, etc.) to plan multi-protocol integration architectures that incorporate Okta with various technologies.
- Experience with specific IAM and Information security technologies: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Single Sign-On, Privileged Access Management, endpoint security, Federated Identity, or virtual directories.
- Ability to own and complete requirements and architectural design documents.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or closely related field or comparable education and experience.
