Senior Software Engineer - In Experience Creation

In-Experience Creation
As a Senior Software Engineer on the In-Experience Creation Team, you will work on foundational algorithms for real-time simultaneous cooperative 3D content creation and editing that will scale to the millions of users on the Roblox platform. Our team is composed of industry professionals who are working on challenging engineering problems at the boundaries of real-time computer graphics and geometry modeling. You will cover all aspects of the software development process from planning to release.
You will:
- Work in a small autonomous team, driving an essential part of the ROBLOX Experience
- Own new feature development from research and prototyping to release and maintenance
- Improve the robustness and performances of existing components
- Be an ambassador for ROBLOX with the industry and the community
What We're Looking For:
- MSc or PhD in computer science, mechanical engineering, mathematics or a related field with emphasis on computational geometry
- Strong hands-on experience in writing, testing, maintaining efficient C/C++ code
- Working knowledge of advanced data structures and algorithms design
- Extensive knowledge of linear algebra concepts (vector and matrix math, numerical solvers) and 3D computational geometry
- Experience working on 3D geometry modeling, editors, or content creation tools
