Tangible Play, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer, Games in Palo Alto, CA to be responsible for creating systematic solutions for iPad-compatible gaming software applications that combine physical interactions with digital experiences, with a focus on player experience.

You will be at the heart of one of our product development teams, crafting experiences that delight and entertain, all the while making kids fall in love with learning. We look for candidates that take pride in the quality of their work, be it gameplay engineering or building reliable systems.
Duties include
- work with Unity and C# on gameplay systems, architecture and code
- design and architect new code systems and lead other engineers to develop within your designs
- work in a multi-disciplined team with artists, designers, software engineers, and hardware engineers
- oversee engineering contractors working abroad
- gain expertise in multiple areas and develop a focus on areas which you find the most interesting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Entertainment Technology, or related field.
- Must have a proven ability to complete a video game project.
- Must have knowledge of: algorithms and data structures; game design fundamentals; building with Unity; C# or similar object oriented language; Git, Perforce, SourceTree, or similar distributed version control; working with command line and shell scripts; tools and practices for optimizing performance and memory use in Unity
