Software Engineer, Enterprise Data

Data@Unity consists of several teams with different expertise - data scientists, data platform engineers, data engineers, data analysts and product managers. The vision and aspirations are shared across the teams to make data a first class citizen at Unity. We support our various business functions with their journey becoming more data driven by providing data products and services for the whole company to become more data driven and self serve. Another key function is the development of key metrics around our core business to the executive team.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and capabilities to enable more self-service data functionalities
• Maintain and extend frameworks that source and transform large quantities of data
• Open for learning new technologies and how to get these understood, developed and rolled out across the data platform for the benefit of our business stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in a programming language like python, Java, C# or C++
• Experience developing tools and services on cloud technologies (GCP,Azure,AWS)
• Experience in working with external APIs
• Good communication skills especially interacting with stakeholders
• Experience with working on large and complex datasets and requirements
