Software Development Engineer in Test

A position for a Software Development Engineer in Test is now open for a meticulously talented developer with a passion for quality assurance. You will assist in scaling our automation efforts, optimize our CI/CD system, and help maintain our automation system through investigations and troubleshooting. You have probably worked on engine level tech on mobile or console platforms in the past and you know the importance of having a reliable and trust-worthy automation system at your team’s disposal.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our developers to advise and contribute to our automated test suite
• Maintain and update automation system and hardware
• Debug crashes and other issues encountered internally and by our customers
• Convert customer bug reports into test code that can run inside our automation frameworks
• Collaborate with other testers and developers
• Interact and communicate with external partners and be able to react to changing priorities

Requirements

• Experience as a dedicated SDET and a proven record of shipping large, complex software projects and driving quality
• Experience and interest in Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality
• Experience developing automated test frameworks and automated tests
• Solid background in computer science, data structures and algorithms
• Experience on C# (.NET core), java (Groove), C/C++
• Scripting language experience like SHELL, Python, PowerShell, Windows Command Line, etc.
• Cross-platform working experience on Windows, Unix/Linux, Android, iOS
• Knowledge on CI/CD with Git or Mercurial

Bonus points

• Experience on automation system like Jenkins, TeamCity etc.
• Prior experience using Unity
• Obsessed with customer experience and product quality
• Driven and comfortable in representing the customer experience to stakeholders
