Software Development Engineer in Test
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will design our testing processes and develop repeatable and automatable testing systems. You will work with product managers and other software engineers on our internal game and AWS technology teams to understand features and technical implementation. You will identify use cases, create test plans, define test strategies, and create manual and automated test cases in order to report to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of our products.
SDETs at Amazon work alongside their teams during every step in development and are equally responsible in ensuring we are building for a high-quality customer experience. You must be able to understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks with scripting tools or user-level automation tools. If you want to deliver high quality releases for state-of-the-art game technology, Amazon Game Services is the place for you!
We believe the evolution that began with arcade communities a quarter at a time, growing to the live streams and eSports of today, will continue to a future where everyone is a gamer and every gamer can create, compete, collaborate and connect with others at massive scales.
