As a Software Development Engineer focused on automated testing, you will design our testing processes and develop repeatable and automatable testing systems. You will work with product managers and other software engineers on our internal game and AWS technology teams to understand features and technical implementation. You will identify use cases, create test plans, define test strategies, and create manual and automated test cases in order to report to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of our products.

This role will see you work alongside the team during every step in development and are equally responsible in ensuring we are building for a high-quality customer experience. You must be able to understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks with scripting tools or user-level automation tools. Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
· 2+ years of experience as a software engineer - development or test.
· 2+ years of software testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience designing, implementing, and running test cases.
· Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and product development lifecycles (including C++, Java, XML, messaging protocols, and Web Services).
· Ability to understand functional and technical specifications and analyze data and output logs.
· Experience reporting on quality.
· Knowledge of test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology.
