Software Development Engineer in Test Student Worker

We are looking for a student worker to join the Automation and Tooling Team. Our team is a small team, composed of 7 Software Development Engineers in Test, spread over multiple locations.

The opportunity

You will join the Automation and Tooling Team, which is responsible for the test infrastructure part of continuous integration.

Being a part of the team, you will work on ensuring the highest possible quality and productivity on feature development by helping developers to efficiently use CI pipelines. You will help by solving infrastructure problems and improve the overall confidence in a well-tested product.

You will gain valuable knowledge of modern CI techniques and how to optimize test coverage of a product.

This is a part-time position for students looking to work 15 - 20 hours per week in our Copenhagen office.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Automation and Tooling Team, you will work on:

• Crafting automation workflows that can be run in a continuous integration system that feature teams depends on
• Building tools and frameworks for optimizing test coverage
• Trouble shooting
• Advocating good engineering practices in the team and ensuring tooling surrounding quality are just as important as the product itself

What we’re looking for

• You are currently studying in a relevant subject such as Computer Science at a University level
• A good level of programming skill in C#, Python, Java or another programming language
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• An interest in testing, testing processes and CI pipelines

You might also have

• Knowledge of test automation of gaming console devices and mobile devices
