Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test II in San Francisco, CA to automate API tests for backend automated testing. Requires a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience working in an Agile environment. Prior experience must include (2) years of experience designing and developing automated software tests; using Selenium Web driver and Appium for application testing; testing desktop web applications using Java, Junit and TestNG; supporting software testing projects from test plan development through production launch; implementing test cases and test plans for testing large-scale applications; participating in production monitoring and debugging of issues, including reporting defects in Jira defect tracking system; creating manual test cases; creating detailed test plans and executing test cases; automating test cases using Selenium; and utilizing Java, Maven, and Jenkins. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$153,400 — $203,200 USD
