Software Developer in Test Intern

Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for a Software Developer in Test Intern to join our established, high performance team in Los Angeles, CA. Our ideal candidate is hardworking and passionate about this field.

Software Developer in Test Intern

The Role

We are a small close-knit QA team working closely with software engineers on client applications focused on media access and discovery on PlayStation platforms.

• Implement, maintain, and optimize Python test scripts written on top of Appium-based framework based on existing written test cases
• Implement, maintain, and optimize Python abstractions for application UI using the Page Object Model (POM)
• Setup and Triage Jenkins CI CD Test Pipeline issues with QA, developers, and infrastructure teams
• Study and experiment with methods to automate test cases currently categorized as not automatable by studying test cases and POMs implemented by other internal teams
• Run test cases manually with partial assistance from CLI tools and dashboards

Ideal Requirements

• 2+ years experience with Python
• 2+ years experience with Appium(preferred) or Selenium
• 2+ years experience with code abstraction methods such as POM (preferred)
• 2+ years experience with QA and/or test experience preferred
• 1+ years experience with CI CD environments and Github
