Job summary

Our tech team is tasked with making our shows interactive experiences in ways that no other platform can deliver. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web backend programming (HTML/CSS/Javascript) as well as a well rounded knowledge base of AWS technology like DynamoDB, Lambdas, Elastic Container Systems, and S3. Bonus points if they have knowledge of Twitch APIs and endpoints.

We are a distributed team that fully supports remote work during the pandemic. If restrictions are lifted we will be doing 2-3 days onsite but will continue to be flexible on remote work.

Key job responsibilities
* Build and maintain user-facing systems to support our shows.
* Manage live operations while the shows are on air.
* Ensure quality customer experiences with all of our engagement tools.

A day in the life
Our team works with a stripped down version of Agile Development to match our small team. We do two week sprints kicked off by the Product Manager where we lay out priorities and align on tasks to accomplish.
A typical day starts with a morning standup. We try to keep meetings to a minimum, but there is one weekly technical review with the wider team. We also meet once a day for an hour which is a group coding session since the pandemic started, which allows us to function in a pseudo-office environment.

About the team
The Crown Channel is a unique team with an ambitious goal - to create the future of live programming. We are a lean organization with a startup culture that is leveraging a wide array of AWS technology to push the capabilities of interactive streaming into uncharted areas.
