PUBG Corporation is developer and publisher of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS(PUBG). We are in search of an enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated person for the Social Media Specialist role. Reporting directly to the Head of Comms & Engagement Team and working closely with the Community Project Manager, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for putting together social campaigns, coordinating the efforts of the Community Managers on social media, managing the day-to-day social media activations, measuring and reporting on performance of social content and channel growth, and more. Other key responsibilities include content creation internally with the art team as well as managing external creative agencies. This is a varied and multifaceted role so “can do” attitude is important as well as co-working efficiently with the Community and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with Community, Partners and Marketing team to develop and execute social strategy and campaigns for PUBG in EMEA region.
- Provide support to Community team to engage with PUBG players through social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
- Analyze social media efforts to help grow audience and retention.
- Participate in development of community assets such as game videos, social media content, podcasts, developer interviews, product updates, livestreams, written content, and more.
- Provide detailed reporting on social media KPIs and community sentiment and develop ways to improve.
Qualifications
- Strong capacity for creative thinking and finding innovative approaches.
- Ability to stay flexible in a highly dynamic work environment and always see the bigger picture.
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in community or social media management.
- Strong understanding of and adaptability to popular social networking tools, trends, and best practices.
- Proven history of maintaining and developing communities on social media platforms.
- Knowledgeable on latest technologies and techniques used in building and maintaining successful gaming communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong understanding of appropriate tone and voice for social media platforms and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work and communicate in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment.
- Demonstrated initiative and positive spirit in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape of games and their social media presence.
- Willing to travel for events, meetings, conventions, etc.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics.
- Passion for videogames.
