Social Media Marketing Manager

Austin based entertainment and media company Rooster Teeth is seeking a fun, creative, organized and detail-oriented individual for the position of Social Media Marketing Manager. We need someone who can help us oversee the planning and execution of activity across our many social media and community channels. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Please note, in this climate of constant change, candidates must be able to work and telecommunicate from home, as well as be able to work onsite if/when that becomes an option

Responsibilities:

• Manage the timing and execution of daily output on all social channels in collaboration with the marketing team and departments across the company
• Interacting with community via social media, responding to questions, comments & feedback
• Working closely with Community Managers to enhance Rooster Teeth's presence and community engagement
• Develop and execute social strategies involving branded/sponsored content in collaboration with the sales team
• Maintain open dialogue with community and influencers
• Build and maintain daily social & editorial calendars
• Lead development and production of original social content (videos, GIFs, infographics, live video, imagery, etc)
• Analyze social media performance, engagement, and growth, and report findings to the team
• Support social promotion for Rooster Teeth events and eCommerce

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Social Media / Marketing experience
• Expert level understanding and experience with social media tools & platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, related third-party software, etc)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of Rooster Teeth channels, shows, history, culture, and voice
• High attention to detail & organizational skills
• Ability to develop, manage, and execute creative social media content and storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple channels, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
