Private Division publishes the physical retail edition of Hades from Supergiant Games on PlayStation® and Xbox consoles. Private Division continues to build its internal studio capacity, with Roll7 and Intercept Games as internal developers for the Label. Private Division has offices in New York City, Seattle, Las Vegas, Munich, and Singapore.
THE CHALLENGE:
The Private Division is on the search for a Social Media Manager to join the marketing and communications team onsite, hybrid in our New York City offices. You will lead and develop the social media content and campaigns for the Private Division portfolio of titles and channels. Take your creative strategies and coordinate with our community leads to grow our social media presence across Twitter, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON:
- Develop social media content and campaigns for all Private Division label channels
- Lead the Private Division social media strategy and day-to-day execution across all social media channels
- Launch campaigns highlighting our games and team across Twitter, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc
- Work with the in-house marketing production team to produce creative social assets
- Use the Adobe Creative Cloud to create short videos, GIFs, and static images to post on socials in addition to the content created by the in-house team
- Supervise our Customer Support Agency including:
- Manage escalations
- Product briefings
- Budgets
- Lead communication between Agents, QA and development teams to provide resolutions to our customers
- Use Social Media Monitoring tools to track, measure and analyze our social strategy and make adjustments as needed
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 2 years of Social Media Management experience
- A solid understanding of the video game industry – personally or professionally
- Hands on experience developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns
- Proven experience growing communities across all major social media platforms
- Project Management and planning experience
- Experience using analytics to measure and track social media impressions, engagement, sentiment, and reach
- Experience building ad-hoc social media reports tied to major marketing beats in addition to ongoing reporting and tracking
- Strong time management and planning skills
GREAT TO HAVE:
- Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external teams
- A commitment to transparent communication
- Solid understanding of MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management tools
- Basic WordPress, website content management solutions and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Be a self-starter, driven to create great content
- Schedule and time management – with multiple projects running at the same time
