Social Media Manager

As a social media manager at Embark, you will be responsible for our editorial presence on various channels such as Twitter, Reddit, Discord…
As a part of the publishing team, you will be working closely with our community and communication leads to craft enticing copy that channels the voice of our games, and our studio.
The first title you will be working on is an unannounced, co-operative action game, born from the minds of some of the most talented people in the games industry.
Example of responsibilities
- Monitor our social channels on a daily basis
- Craft our editorial strategy with input and help from the community and communication leads
- Write copy on a variety of channels and for a variety of purposes
- Occasionally edit copy for purposes outside of the social sphere (for example, press releases or interview transcripts)
- Collaborate with the rest of the publishing team on campaigns run on social channels
We would love if you have
- A native-level command of English
- A fun and adaptable writing style
- A keen interest in social media
- A grasp of the nuances of language, especially in different cultural contexts
- The ability to interact with players in the public space in a positive way
- A savviness when it comes to dealing with conflicting opinions on the internet
- A passion for games
Additionally one or some of these would be a great bonus
- Experience with running a gaming social channel
- Experience with social media marketing
- Experience or education in brand management
