Social Media Manager - Contractor

The Social Media Specialist supports the social media team in all aspects of social media planning and execution, including content production, scheduling, publishing, and data tracking.

Responsibilities

Assist with the planning and execution of daily output on all social channels in collaboration with the marketing team and departments across the company.
Help with the production and management of custom social media content for Ad Sales partnerships, which includes copywriting, producing creative assets such as images, gifs, and video clips, and providing social analytics.
Planning social content to help drive awareness and ticket sales for RTX, our big summer fan convention. This will involve working with and without talent to publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook. Might involve managing creative content from the event to populate our social channels during the event.
Work with social leads from our programming team to support and amplify their content from our brand handles.
Support social promotion for Rooster Teeth merchandise releases..

Qualifications

3-5 years of Social Media experience
High level of understanding and experience with social media tools & platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Comfort writing social copy
Experience building social media marketing campaigns that value customer engagement
Robust experience with publishing and analytical tools for the major social platforms
High attention to detail & organizational skills
