Site Reliability Engineer

The world’s leading game engine is looking for brilliant engineers for our Site Reliability Engineering organization. Unity customers don’t like service disruptions, and neither, do we. Our mission is to manage production reliability... with technology. We build automation to measure, detect, and prevent production issues. What you’ll be doing
- Develop services for automatically detecting and eliminating service disruptions
- Manage large scale, cross team production incidents when automation is insufficient
- Participate in defining Site Reliability policy, process, technology and best practices
- Capture and build best practices, and be an advocate for those within and across teams
We are looking for
- Experience managing production (OpenStack, Ceph) infrastructure at scale and deploying OpenStack cloud services.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure core components: share storage, system virtualization and Virtual/Cloud networking
- Knowledge of security and Data Center architecture.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible/Salt/Terraform
- Balanced obsession with metrics and measurement
- Excellent collaborator with strong verbal, visual and written communication skills
We also love the following
- Experience with, or strong interest in, Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with modern scripting languages like Golang and Python
- Understanding of continuous integration / continuous deployment
- Contribution to open source projects and/or an exciting Github page
- Real world experience with Big Data technologies like Kafka and Spark
