Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Intermediate

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work with and support a team building and implementing cloud-based enterprise solutions on the AWS architecture. You will work with other developers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle working on cloud-based technologies that are operate on the Amazon Web Services platform.

In this role you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in object-oriented design, AWS, Cloud based services and popular coding languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Perl, JQUERY, JavaScript), we would like to meet you.

The salary for this position is €44,608 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Work with developers to design cloud-based solutions
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a software developer/engineer – 2-3 years’ experience
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge of at least two of the following coding languages and frameworks – PHP, C#, C++, Python, PERL, JavaScript, JQUERY, NODE.JS, and MS VisualBasic, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS etc.), JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with databases - MySQL
