Job Description

MobilityWare delights millions of players every day with our portfolio of mobile and web applications. The business builds, deploys, and maintains many services and applications to support those games. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be supporting our DevOps focused efforts to deploy, monitor, support, and improve our build pipeline, infrastructure, CI/CD, and services. We are customer focused support organization leveraging our unique skills and knowledge to enable our products and staff for success.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain an automation pipeline that builds and deploys all our applications, libraries and services.
• Build and maintain cloud shared services infrastructure including container orchestration, metrics, logging, alerting, disaster recovery, and security.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain services and tools developed by game and infrastructure teams throughout the organization.
• Be a consultant on best-practices to service teams throughout the organization.
• Maintain a company-wide SLA for sites and services.
• Establish and maintain security best-practices for access and handling of data.

Qualifications

• Prefer bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• A minimum of 2 years’ work experience focused primarily on Application Support, Infrastructure Support, SRE/DevOps Engineering.
• Experience working with DevOps and Automation tooling preferred.
• Experience in maintaining SLAs for services including metrics, monitoring, logging, alerting, disaster recovery.
• Cloud experience. AWS preferred.
• Kubernetes experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with desire and ability to work as an internal consultant.
• Experience working in an Agile project management methodology.
• Preference for someone with prior experience as a software engineer in addition to operations skills.

Additional information

• This role will be based out of our Irvine, CA office (once we are re-opened in 2021 due to Covid-19) and full time Remote/Work From Home will not be an option at this time.
