Service Operations Specialist - Fraud

Job Description
This position is within our Service Operations team. Our team consists of specialists, tasked with building expertise and operational success in a wide variety of areas, including E-commerce, Subscription, Fraud and many others, representing our players and CRC within the wider Ubisoft group, and contributing to maintaining a good health of Services.
With the ever-changing nature of fraud, we want you to help build out and deliver our vision for fraud operations within the CRC. You’ll be the voice of our players and our teams and work to protect both, as well as Ubisoft.
To do this, you’ll be responsible for :
- Leading and collaborating on all fraud topics with a touchpoint in CRC
- Defining processes for our teams, with a focus on mitigating risk
- Identifying new risk through analysis of our operations through data and your existing experience and passion
- Working with relevant teams to develop our tooling capabilities internally
- Collaborating with other key stakeholders, including our Games, Services, E-commerce, Accounts and Player safety teams, and many more
- Empowering teams within our CS domain to drive autonomy and efficiency.
- Reporting on fraud topics, and positioning our team to contribute to resolutions
- Safeguarding our Players, CRC teams and the wider business from fraud by identifying risks
- Building the influence and presence of the CRC within the Ubisoft group on fraud topics.
- Bringing innovation and energy to fraud challenges, by internalising fraud activity within the CRC in a safe and progressive way.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- Solid experience working in a fraud prevention role
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with many stakeholders
- A comprehensive understanding of the families of fraud
- Knowledge of legislation and regulation around fraud topics
- A proven ability to manage complex projects
- A passion for helping improve our player and agent experience
- The ability to communicate, lead, present and sell our vision to key stakeholders
- Experience working with Jira
- The ability to plan and estimate workload to ensure timely delivery with autonomy
- The right amount of grit and drive, paired with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Clear understanding of player experience
- Passion for games and gaming is a big plus
Additional Information
Permanent full time role, located in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).
The role may require periodic travelling to studio or other Ubisoft sites for workshops.
