Server Programmer (Java)

Job Description

This position is for a Server Programmer that will focus on network communication, player interaction across server boundaries, security countermeasures, as well as In-Game Instant Message system implementation.

Qualifications

- Expert Java (MUST) programmer (Python as a Plus), with relevant mobile game development experience.

- Networking experience in TCP/IP, UDP and HTTP protocols; Distributed Systems programming experiences

- Familiarity with implementing Client/Server architecture; Knowledge of network and server security issues

- Expert on creating efficient server software; Expert on development on MySQL or other relational database

- Experience on non-SQL database (such as MongoDB…)

- Commitment to personal and peer development and sharing best practices

Plus:

- Development experience on game server

- Familiar with game engine architecture and production work flow

- Basic written and oral English communication skills

- MMORPG or Causal online game experiences

- Linux experiences
