We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Backend Engineer who likes working on complex technical challenges in small teams. We seek individuals who love technology and can genuinely work proactively and autonomously.

You will be working in a small cross functional games team, helping with designing features, making decisions and solving complex scalable problems. You should be a great communicator and enjoy working in a fast paced and Agile environment. This is a great opportunity to develop games with some incredibly passionate and creative people, so a passion for technology and games would be great.

It’s an incredibly exciting time here at Space Ape Games. We have projects in all stages of the development cycle, along with a fast paced environment that promotes genuine autonomy. Beatstar is a brand new music experience and a collaboration between Space Ape Games and the Supercell marketing team in San Francisco. Our partnership continues with the new multiplayer game we've been working on, which is set in the Boom Beach universe: Boom Beach Frontlines.

Space Ape's server tech connects million of players around the world and is the backbone of game events and social features. To achieve this we heavily leverage AWS services and we build every component with scalability in mind.

Every game is load tested with a game simulation to test the scalability and measure the performances.
