Middle/Senior Server Developer (World of Tanks Blitz)

MS-1 is Wargaming’s premier mobile development studio behind World of Tanks Blitz, a renowned cross-platform shooter, and World of Warships Blitz, a mobile naval combat game, with games in portfolio boasting over 160 million downloads. MS-1 is a multi-site studio with primary locations Vilnius, Minsk, Moscow, Shanghai, and Berlin. Its international, multicultural team comprises more than 360 professionals of various backgrounds and experience across all disciplines, including development, publishing, and operations.

Now we are looking for a С++/Python Developer. You will be working on the development of the World of Tanks Blitz game server as part of the team that creates game modes and gameplay features.

What will you do?

• Develop new game modes and gameplay features
• Work on the integration of external servers into the World of Tanks Blitz game server
• Work on code base improvement

What are we looking for?

• Excellent knowledge of classic algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• High proficiency in C++ and/or Python
• Readiness to work with Python most of the time
• Logical thinking and excellent self-management skills

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience writing server code for multiplayer games and real-time game modes
• Proven knowledge of server technologies, network protocols, and databases
• Experience working in high-load client/server application development (full cycle)
• Familiarity with mobile game development nuances
• Experience working in the gaming industry and a desire to create games
