Senior to Principal Vehicle Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing vehicles in a AAA action adventure game--Ashfall. You will have a hand in all aspects of vehicles from controls to customization to AI. Vehicles will be a huge part of Ashfall’s design, and we’re looking to really push the boundaries here.

As a designer at Liithos, you are a leader and a doer. We are a design-led studio where you will have a great deal of creative freedom, and the ability to shape your role to your liking. We understand that game development changes like the weather, and are incredibly excited about the opportunities that brings. At Liithos there is no idea too big or too crazy or too scary to try.

Responsibilities

Working in Blueprint or C++ in Unreal Engine 5 and related data structures.
Running design meetings, creating pitches and writing technical briefs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a vehicle or gameplay designer on a AAA project at any level, or at least 1 shipped title.
A strong knowledge of what makes a vehicle fun, and what it takes to deliver on that experience.
An understanding of the development process from concept to completion.

Bonus Points

Experience mentoring other designers as a lead or senior member of a design team.
Familiarity with testing strategies such as focus testing, A/B, and player data analysis.
