The Hearthstone team is looking for a Senior Voiceover Designer to coordinate and develop new voiceover content for our players! From dwarves and orcs to murlocs and monsters, our tavern is full of whimsical characters to bring to life! The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the voiceover process from end to end, excellent communication skills, and a track record of consistently delivering high quality assets. Responsibilities include dialogue script preparation, adding processing and effects to voice files, in game asset implementation, and delivery of files to partner teams. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with audio production and design groups to deliver completed dialogue scripts to be used in studio sessions.
- Receive and track delivery of voiceover assets from external partners.
- Use creative processing techniques to bring characters to life and match the artistic vision.
- Implement dialogue assets into the game and track progress using project management software.
- Prepare and deliver dialogue assets to our partners in Localization, Marketing, and Community.
- Collaborate with sound and engineering to improve the dialogue toolset.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years of proven ability in mixing and mastering high-quality dialogue.
- Proficient in editing dialogue using ProTools.
- Skilled in editing dialogue for video games, film, or animation.
- Expertise in designing unique voice effects for monsters and magical creatures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with sound personnel, production, and other fields.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of ProTools.
- Diverse knowledge of various plugins (Waves, Izotope, etc.)
- Knowledge or familiarity with sound middleware and game development tools such as Unity, Wwise, etc.
- Knowledge of JIRA software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Plusses /Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity of the Warcraft or Hearthstone universe.
- Actively plays Hearthstone.

- Experience working with multiple different fields: Sound, Design, Art, Engineering.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
