Senior Video Producer

Job Description

Duties will include:

• Directing, editing, and creating motion graphics for release trailers and other supplemental videos
• Capturing and editing gameplay footage
• Collaborating and coordinating with teammates to help write scripts, record audio, and create graphics for the trailers
• Working with stakeholders to help identify and set a realistic vision for our video work on a per-project basis
• Providing guidance on when a video may be an appropriate tool to meet our needs (and helping us prioritize effectively)
• Manage feedback from various stakeholders along the whole video production process
• Recording and editing developer interview footage and behind-the-scenes materials
• Coordinating with Community Management to help support ongoing Twitch/YouTube streams and content
• Helping contribute to a diverse, equitable and inclusive workspace

Qualifications

• Experience directing and/or editing trailers for games
• At least 5 years of experience working with video editing software
• Detail oriented, responsive, and extremely reliable
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Willing to relocate to Vancouver, Canada. (We will sponsor a visa for the right candidate.)
• Experience with Adobe suite required
• Graphic design capabilities and the ability to make title graphics is a plus
• Experience with using OBS to stream a plus

Additional Information

Brace Yourself Games is located in downtown Vancouver, Canada, and this position is local. This is a permanent full time paid position. Rate of pay is above industry standard and includes a profit sharing plan and an outstanding benefits package. We develop games because games make us happy.
