Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer
19 days ago
Want to work on some of the biggest indie game releases next year and beyond?
Playstack is a very exciting and rewarding place to work and seeks a dedicated, dynamic and extremely knowledgeable Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer who’s able to deliver outstanding video contents for both pc/console and mobile games.
You’ll be part of our video team, taking briefs from the Marketing team and liaising directly with dev teams to establish connecting points where you can work together to gather the best capture and footage for your trailers.
About the role
As a video artist you’ll be directly creating AAA quality motion graphics and cutting trailers, adverts and social media content for our published games. This role requires an excellent attention to detail, a collaborative mindset and a creative approach. You’ll be organising capture, planning edits, briefing/creating 3d work and VFX, planning scripts alongside providing support and ideas all the way through production.
As a Senior professional you’ll work with your team member to bring out their best as artists: you'll help them to improve their skills and practical knowhow through training and mentorship. Your end goal would be to boost the team's trailer output quality and strive for the best.
You’ll benefit from being a lateral thinker - you’ll think around creative challenges and be able to visualise what you are aiming to deliver. You’ll be playing the game, you’ll be briefed to understand the Marketing USP and work with both studio management and the art team to bring those together visually to the deadline. For this reason, your own and the team's time management is a very important part of your day to day approach. You’ll be providing accurate time estimates to client teams.
