ForeVR Games has released ForeVR Bowl, ForeVR Darts and ForeVR Cornhole to rave reviews and is now ramping up to deliver a portfolio of hits each year. We’re hiring a senior producer that straddles external and internal game development projects focusing on keeping the trains running on time, on budget, and at quality.
Role of Senior VR Game Engineer at ForeVR
You’re a pro at Unity. You have familiarity with Android development, experience with virtual reality platforms (such as Oculus, Vive, PSVR), and have strong C# and mathematical skills. You’ve previously shipped titles. You can work independently, paired up, and with an entire team. You’ve provided mentorship to junior developers.

Role Responsibilities
- Create functional Virtual Reality (VR) prototypes in Unity.
- Build on existing Unity prototypes to add functionality to prototype iOS/Android apps
- Create new build on existing internal Unity packages and provide support to other internal teams that may be leveraging them
- Integrate third party Unity SDKs / plugins into existing Unity prototypes to prove out and validate functionality
- Create and integrate native / managed iOS / Android Unity plugins for additional functionality
- Review code / merge requests and maintain Git-based prototype code repositories
- Make quick architecture decisions to move prototypes forward without sacrificing future flexibility
- Contribute to functional front-end web prototypes
- Provide feedback, code review and mentoring to junior engineers
Role Requirements
- 4+ years experience as an engineer on a game team
- 2+ shipped titles, preferably on embedded platforms
- Experience with virtual reality platforms (Oculus, Vive, PSVR)
- Unity Pro: At least 1 shipped project built in Unity3d
- Familiarity with Android development
- Master of C# programming language. Experience with C/C++ is desirable
- Strong understanding of linear algebra and other math's that power 3D gaming
- Strong proficiency with source control tools used in a team setting.
