Do you know how to frame the look of a game with procedural and systemic Visual FX? Do you know how to distribute and drive particle effects on heavy physical interactions as well as spatially color the clouds of a sunset? Then we got a great opportunity for you on a new game IP!

The goal for this role is to drive the design and function of the different VFX systems and pipelines, and you will ensure that style and function embodies the IP, that all quality bars are met, and implementation is a great fit to the mechanics and narratives of the game. You will work cross functional with teams such as the audio team to create new ways of working with procedural systems.

As a leader of your discipline, you will be responsible for quality and a stakeholder in the game experience, while accountable for meeting internal and industry benchmarks of design excellence.

In this role, you’ll join our Art craft and report to the Lead Environment Artist. You will drive the development of Visual FX both from technical perspective as well as on the content side. You will take part in establishing systemic principles that defines distribution, spawning and updating of the Visual FX framework. And final, you will participate in setting up pipelines for high-quality effects.
