Responsibilities:
- Apply user experience design principles and techniques to solve team goals
- Communicate your data-informed vision and design rationale to stakeholders
- Explore multiple solutions and make informed tradeoffs
- Break down proposed solutions thoughtfully so that your team can plan and ship value incrementally
- Provide appropriate design artifacts for your team, including flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and occasionally journey maps or high fidelity shippable assets
- Align your high fidelity designs to the existing League of Legends visual style
- Provide high-quality designs that consider the end-to-end player experience
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in user experience design or interactive design
- Comfortable planning and estimating UX effort for projects
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or other industry design and prototyping tools
- Comfortable traveling to California up to four times per year (at company's cost)
- A digital portfolio of selected past design work (1-3 projects) including project goals, your role, your collaborators, and context about your design process and solution
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction/Interface Design, Communication Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
- Experience designing for PC and mobile games, or experience designing for consumer facing e-commerce platforms
We will review your work as a part of the application process, so please provide a portfolio link or work samples with your application. Applications submitted without a portfolio cannot be considered.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise that prioritizes the delight of players. We will look at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player (or customer) empathy and care about the experiences of players, this could be the role for you!
