Job Description

Ubisoft China is looking for a Senior UA Manager as part of its marketing and communications strategic team. The Senior Manager role is tasked with the acquisition strategic development of our titles, with the aim of reaching and engaging players. To be successful we require someone who’s immensely passionate about digital experiences, and who gets excited on how to best apply the modern marketing automation toolsets to contribute to our business ambitions.

Responsibilities

· Define the acquisition strategy of our games and monitoring the output of our campaign rolled out on ad networks, UA networks and the whole channel selected.

· Maximize the efficiency of these campaigns and their ROAS by optimizing their targeting, their bids and budgets allocated and their contents: visuals, texts, variations.

· Pitch the first party channels and promoting our titles with the aim of obtaining the maximum visibility for our games: featuring, ASO, SEO.

· Manage the output of creative marketing, UA and communication assets by relying on their performance (data) while respecting the IP.

· Develop our acquisition via the RP/media channels and keep testing new ways to increase our audience.

· Lead and committing our communities of players by creating with our CM fun, attractive and innovative content on social networks, forums etc.

· Be an expert of the market by overseeing consumption reports at every steps of the development and by staying aware of trends and competition.

· Keep validating the strategic positioning of our games on the market, working on their identity in line with their content and participating in the potential creation of IPs.

Qualifications

· BA or above education

· 10+ years’ experience on a marketing function and/or User Acquisition in the digital field, agency background with FMCG brand management preferred.

· A mental agility and leadership – open-minded, conciliatory, versatile – mixed with a strong willing to create and innovate.

· The capability to analyze issues quickly – especially from encrypted data – to summarize conclusions and to convince on relevant directions.

· A smart perception about players’ uses and new business models on mobile devices.

· A good videogame culture and a strong interest for entertainment universe and new technologies

· Expertise in customer messaging strategy and planning efforts, with defined documentation and communication.

· Driven, enthusiastic leader who can influence the broader organization with a clear vision and storytelling.

· Solid organizational and project management skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and work streams.

· Creative problem-solving skills with focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture thinking

· Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing programs/processes.

· Native Chinese speaker with excellent oral and written English skills. French is a plus.
