PeopleFun is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unity Graphics Engineer to join our client engineering team. This role will focus on rendering pipeline and graphics frameworks on top of the Unity Engine. You will collaborate on game features to deliver graphics based solutions for a variety of different gameplay and behavior. You will be responsible to ensure that our games look and run great on the target devices
Responsibilities
- Code in C# and HLSL
- Develop the graphics pipeline and shaders library in Unity
- Profile and optimize performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with the art team to support the art assets importing and decide on art assets constraints
- Produce high quality, well-documented code promoting modularity, extensibility and performance
- Work with artists and developers to ensure proper usage of graphics pipeline within performance budget
- Develop Unity Editor tools for artists and game designers to achieve desired visuals
Requirements
- 5+ years of expert level experience in one of Obj-C, C, C++ or C#
- 3+ years of working in Unity
- Experience in writing, editing and optimizing shaders
- Familiar with 3D math
- Self directed, can identify problems and tackle large features with minimal guidance
- Shipped multiple games on Android and iOS
Bonus Points
- Proficient in C#
- Experience with core Unity systems including Animators, UI, Batching, Lighting, etc
- Experience with writing Unity Editor tools
- Experience working with Addressable Assets and Asset Bundles
- Knowledge of import formats and texture settings in the engine. (ETC2 PVRTC ASTC).
