Senior Unity Game Developers

COMPANY INTRODUCTION

Xoilium is developing a new Play-To-Earn game called Rebel Bots- Xoil Wars, it is a cross platform card battle game, players will be able to play, progress,and earn in a single player or multiplayer sci-fi themed game taking place in outer space. Our Vision is to create a leading game franchise within the blockchain games space by building the Rebel Bots brand with several gaming titles. Players will be able to use the characters they own in all games within the Rebel Bots Universe. Among our goals is to create a truly social gameplay which enables players to join forces with other players and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join our agile team to work closely with developers, spearheading improvements in client- side services in the game while maintaining alignment with the game design goals: a fun, simple, yet sustainable P2E game.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement designs, new functions and features
• Collaborate with the design team in order to discuss concepts, system specs and feature feasibility
• Translate design ideas into a clean, readable, maintainable and functional game code
• Coordinate with teammates to define development timeframes, dependencies, and risks.
• Maintain design documentation for internal use
• Maintain coding standards to achieve efficiency in maintenance and portability
• Identify roadblocks and bugs, and address and mitigate these issues
• Work on server-side services connecting users in multi- player environment
• Lead and code review to other team members.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years experience in game development
• Experience in Unity3D Engine (Editor and Scripting)
• Client+server communication experience
• Ability to write documented, unit testable, C# code, that is compliant with our coding conventions and standards.
• Experience in mobile games for Android and iOs
• Having experience in P2E game development a big plus
• Previous work experience in an agile environment, preferably with experience in successfully handling a team
• Great communication skills, able to convey concepts to both technical and non- technical stakeholders
• Passionate about gaming!
