SENIOR DESIGNERS AT BSG…
You have intimate knowledge of the design pipeline and have evolved your skillset and techniques to align with the wisdom you've gained by working on numerous AAA titles. You are recognized as a reliable developer with the chops to get the job done but the self-actualization to know when to seek feedback. You laugh in the face of a challenge because you already set high expectations for yourself and are confident in your ability to deliver high-quality work the first time around.

Although your influence is essential to the department's success and you provide some mentorship to junior developers, designing is your bread and butter. You are a master of independent work but recognize the power behind collaboration so you haven't forgotten how to be a team player.

Role and Responsibilities

Supported by the UX design team and in heavy collaboration with the UI art team , the Senior UX /UI Designer will define and realize UX goals for new and evolving gameplay features .

The ideal candidate for this role has experience iterating fair in-game systems for AAA titles from conceptualization to completion and can translate a thorough understanding of cognitive UX aspects into engaging player interactions that meet project expectations and deadlines.

Your responsibilities in this role will entail creating UX content for storyboards, personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and mockups through data-informed interdepartmental collaboration and iteration.

In addition to driving the technical obligations of this role, we are seeking an individual that possesses the excellent communication skills necessary to articulate personal creative processes while receiving critical user and team feedback.

It is imperative that the person in this role is comfortable working alongside UI Engineers to implement and polish design content while being able to express ideas and improvements to the team.

This is a full-time temporary position available to work remotely or based out of our Irvine, CA studio.

The salary range being considered for this role is 89,600 - $134,400. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee UX wireframe mockups and collaborate cross-functionally to create polished, visually stunning game design features
  2. Routinely translate global player data to determine problem areas and craft swift design solutions
  3. Predict, identify , and resolve impediments related to experience design
  4. Work with and take guidance from UX Directors to drive UX-centric features from concept to completion
  5. Document and advocate for high-quality UX standards, continuously improving the workflow process as it relates to UX
  6. Participate in and contribute to cross-functional discussions related to milestone delivery and emerging features
