Senior UI/UX Designer

Summary

What You'll Do

Championing new user interfaces and user experiences that provide intuitiveness and delight to our customers and players:

• Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements
• Oversee the design and delivery of effective user interfaces
• Mentor a team of junior UI designers, providing training and support
• Assist with user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes
• Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs and emerging technologies
• Thought UI/UX design leadership for Aristocrat Product portfolio and markets served

Performs all miscellaneous duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 4 - 6 years of experience in user interface and user experience design, gaming industry experience a plus
• Ability to innovate and develop out-of-the-box solutions to complex user interaction problems
• Assess the impact of all UI design and usability changes
• Highly skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities
• A proactive and clear communicator – Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present work to executives and large groups
• Proven ability to work well cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and synthesize information
• Relentlessly high standards and attention to detail to foster creative excellence
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Expert knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI
• Strong typography, layout and visual design skills
• Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, prototypes
• Working knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Thorough understanding of product development processes
• Comfortable with ambiguity; welcomes the challenge of developing new ideas and approaches in a semi-unstructured environment
• Must be a “team-player” with the ability to work within collaborative environments to organize and facilitate program reviews, roadmap reviews, new product initiation meetings and investigations, and business case reviews
• Ability and desire to interact and engage in substantive dialogue with all levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and market research skills
