Senior UI Programmer [The Settlers] (f/m/d)

Job Description
As our new Senior UI Programmer on The Settlers at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, you will be responsible for the presentation layer of the game. You will provide technical solutions to bring complex and feature-rich user-interfaces into existence. You develop configurations, systems and tools to handle input and output. You are eager and curious to dive into the unknown, with love for details like key mapping, data binding and message passing architecture. Furthermore, you learn and teach how to realize UX visions for the team.
What you will do:
- Work on existing and new UI features (screens, dialogs, user-flows)
- Input handling for keyboard, mouse and game-controllers
- Drive complex layout, animation and presentation
- Work with the team on improving game stability and useability
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Strong C# and C++ experience, node-based programming
- Fluent in UX and UI principles
- Knowledge of industry standard UI architectures
- Experience in working with existing game engines
- Ability to work with large, existing code bases
- Demonstrate efficient analytical skills
- Proactive behavior and being a team player
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good English language skills
