Senior UI Developer / Senior Tech Artist (UI) / UI Technology Lead

What you will get to work on:

You would be starting out by bringing polish to our latest title Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, while working alongside other artists and UX designers in refining UI assets and guiding them with optimal workflows. You will be helping to optimise the art assets with game performance front and centre in your mind and be constantly developing technical solutions to solve performance issues while executing artistic and game vision. You will be the missing link between concept art and our game programmers in helping to bring the game's artistic vision to life in the engine.

In the long term you will have plenty of ownership in how we develop UI and can help Next Games as a studio to stay up-to-date with the latest UI tools and technologies in all of our future titles.

Your experience included:

• Extensive experience working with UI implementation inside Unity
• Shipping and working on Mobile Games in 2D and 3D
• Performance optimisation in Unity
• Mobile game art implementation and knowledge of its limitations
• Comfortable using C# to develop functionality inside the game
• Excel in cross-team communication

Nice to have:

• 2D rigging knowledge and experience
• Experience in profiling in Unity and on device
• Experience working with Git

You should be ready to work hard and be proactive to fill gaps in your knowledge when necessary.
