General Description
The UI Artist is responsible for ensuring the design and graphic production of the menus and user interfaces of games. His/her supervisor follows up his/her work so it can be easily integrated in the game and comply with the artistic direction and technical constraints.

UI 美术师确保游戏页面菜单及用户页面设计能得以实现。其将遵循/制订技术规范约制和游戏美术风格,在主管的指导下确保游戏UI美术工作的顺利开展,并确保最终游戏上线的UI品质。
Responsibilities
- Creating interfaces, icons, thumbnails, and other UI art assets from design to integration.
- Defining and creating UI Art guideline with UI Team based on Game Art Direction.
- Following UI Art direction in production.
- Willing to learn basic operations on integration and implementation by engine and tool. Knowing how to cut assets and put them into the right path. Being able to finish the page visual construction in game but not functional.
- Having good communication mindsets and able to build up a smooth collaboration with designers, artists, and programmers.
- Providing a good hierarchy of information and functionality of the UI to enhance the player experience.
- Assuring the respect of the Ubisoft guidelines in terms of asset management (logo, fonts, color schemes).

- 从设计到实现,完成UI的界面、图标等资源生产和集成。
- 根据游戏美术方向,与UI团队一起规范UI美术风格与生产流程。
- 遵从已有的UI美术风格进行生产。
- 使用要求的引擎和工具做相关的集成工作,包括但不限于裁资源与放在正确的路径下,并且完成页面的视觉拼接工作。
- 与策划、美术、程序紧密合作,积极沟通解决工作问题。
- 从玩家体验出发,提供感受丝滑、视觉舒适与功能完善的UI。
- 遵从育碧品牌使用与管理规范,包括但不限于Logo,字体以及颜色。
Qualifications
- Knowing how to use XD or Figma or willing to learn wireframe tools.
- Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowing some basic ways to use any tools that you are comfortable with to present your ideas and willing to develop more skills on other tools to show UI art creativities.
- Aware of current trends in user interface design and able to use it in work.
- Having good ownership minds and willing to communicate with team to achieve goals.
- Creating compelling interface animations for game.
- Developing flexible designs that allow for extension and further development.
