Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to work on the world's greatest MMO!

In this role you will be building out and maintaining our Technical Documentation Environment in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. You will be in the forefront of developing a world-class technical environment for an MMO in collaboration with experienced colleagues.

The position is based in Reykjavík.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related
• disciplines
• 6+ years of proven experience in technical writing
• Excellent English writing, editing, and communications skills (CEFR C2,
• equivalent, or better)
• Enthusiastic about technology, fiction, and good products
• Growth mindset
• Passion for learning and sharing information about new things

Your Tasks:

• Planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work
• Gathering and analyzing technical, contextual, and product information to document new and existing systems
• Tailoring and maintaining technical documents, including software and systems engineering, systems operations, and user documentation
• Co-creating technical blogs with technical leadership, senior engineers, and other subject matter experts
• Creating or procuring visual aids to communicate workflow, processes, and abstract topics more clearly
• Pioneering the technical information architecture and content strategy
