We are now incredibly excited to be recruiting for our new Unannounced Project.
We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and sit within the KRAFTON, Inc. corporation. From our Amsterdam office, we cover Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS region, and have teams dedicated to Game Development, Product Management, Esports, Content, Communications, Creative, Merchandise, HR and more.
Our office is situated in the Amsterdam Arena area, a buzzing business hub in the southeastern part of the city. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Sound Designer with an innovative, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail. As a Senior Technical Sound Designer, you will be joining an ambitious team of other audio specialists where your skills will be essential in creating an immersive, state-of-the-art, AAA experience.
This is a full-time position at our studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the audio team and other departments to develop, prototype and debug audio features.
- Design and implement audio systems and assets using Nuendo, Wwise and UE5.
- Research, define and document (Next-Gen) audio solutions.
- Support others with knowledge and practical help.
What we’re ideally looking for:
- Previous experience in the game industry in a similar position.
- Demonstrable knowledge of game audio and implementation.
- Demonstrable experience with sound design for games.
- Proficient with Cubase or Nuendo.
- Proficient with Audiokinetic's Wwise.
- Familiar with game engines (preferably UE4 and higher).
- Familiar with programming/(visual)scripting languages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Following is a plus
- A Bachelor and/or Master degree. Preferably audio related design studies and/or computer science.
- Experience working on AAA projects / shipped at least one PC title (TPS or FPS).
- Affinity with music theory and/or production.
