Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) with highly technical target clients/users. As Project Manager, you will be expected to act as a communicator, coordinator, organizer, and facilitator within the project team as well as with users. You will be responsible to communicate progress and risks to key stakeholders while ensuring requirements compliance as well as managing project risks and deliverables. You will be expected to collaborate with other leads/managers in allocating resources and be involved in shaping the product features and roadmap.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

The Technical Project Manager is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of our infrastructure services
  • Identify, plan, develop, and implement multiple fast-paced projects for cloud infrastructure security, support, monitoring and cost optimization
  • Adopt proper project management style and lead the planing, backlog management and daily scrum
  • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of current projects
  • Plan, schedule and adhere to all project timelines
  • Track deliverables using appropriate tools and provide support to the team
  • Evaluate complex situations and challenges and identify solutions that create successful outcomes
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Performing project evaluations and assessing results
  • Participates in strategic discussions and works in collaboration with the technology leads
  • Manage and negotiate requirements/change requests
  • Communicate project status and risks to key stakeholders

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • At least 5-year experience as a technical project manager, or lead software engineer.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing AWS and Kubernetes
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira and BitBucket
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing
  • Familiarity with infrastructure management and operations lifecycle concepts and ecosystem
  • Experience in delivering products against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, and often ambiguous environment
  • Prior project management experience of large scale applications in the cloud
  • Keen problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications/Experience Preferred:

  • Good understanding of DevOps, cloud, microservices, and containers (ie., Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent).
  • Familiar with web services patterns/architectures, e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.
  • Comfortable programming in languages such as Golang, Python etc.
  • Experience with common infrastructure components such as SQL and NoSQL database, Kafka, Redis, ELK, Istio
  • Experience working for or with AAA game studios
  • Knowledge of GCP, Azure and other clouds
