Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud DevOps

The Opportunity

The Unity Cloud DevOps teams are creating services that will streamline core workflows for a project so that teams can focus on what matters most - creating.

We’re looking for an expert Technical Program Manager with a passion for improving the ways that people work, an ability to bring best practices to the teams, highlight and improve the practices that we are already doing, and interpersonal skills to harness the passion and energy of teams across the company. We are looking for candidates with strong customer focus to empower product management, engineering, design, and program management teams to bring our vision of Cloud DevOps to our customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Work with the Cloud DevOps Program management team to establish cross-department processes to promote transparency of work, effective prioritization, team velocity, consistency of process, and enable best practices.
• Empower engineering teams to deliver their best work in a way that is predictable and customer focused.
• Facilitate issue, dependency, and risk management for Cloud DevOps programs
• Engage with other Unity product management, program management, engineering, and design teams to align efforts and manage risks and dependencies across the Create division.
• Communicate priorities, progress, challenges and represent the team’s work to leadership and partners.

What we’re looking for

• Sharp focus on execution; of both your personal deliverables and helping other team members deliver on theirs.
• A track record in software production/project management/program management, working with multiple roles within an engineering organization to deliver great outcomes to the creator and developer audience.
• Strength in establishing relationships, maintaining team culture, and communicating with a variety of audiences across time zones and organizational lines.
• Experience guiding and mentoring teams shipping web-based solutions using agile methods.

You may also have

• Ability to empower teams to succeed through change and ambiguous situations.
• Comfort in cutting through ambiguity and navigating organizational structures to help the team make progress.
• Experience with cloud based devops, storage, continuous integration, or build systems
