We are seeking an experienced and determined Senior Technical Producer to help manage our engineering and technical teams while also owning and championing features and initiatives. The job will require working closely with the entire Production and Leadership teams to coordinate and champion high-level initiatives. Responsibilities
- Work with the Engineering and Technical Art departments on a daily basis to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Work with the Executive Producer on internal initiatives for improving internal pipelines and creating long term plans
- Collaborate with other producers and mentor associate producers
- Balance day-to-day maintenance with long-term planning. Need to recognize that production is not all about fighting fires
- Curate and maintain game documentation
- Work closely with other departments to champion cross-departmental efforts
- Take initiative to identify problems, establish facts, and propose solutions
- Gather estimates and work with developers to evaluate feature complexity and risk
- Establish and communicate production estimates, including estimates for when targets will be hit
- Get to know your team: pace, velocity, progress, ownership. Knowing what a critical change can do to the schedule and work with the team to determine what is best for the game and internal tools
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in the games industry
- Demonstrated ability driving complex projects
- Good sense of perspective - able to switch between "details" and "big picture" as needed
- Experience with scheduling tools and managing a project budget
- Experience managing conflict
- Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Capable of multitasking and managing several important items at once, without allowing anything to be lost in the process
- Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to managed team members, as well as Studio Management
Preferences
- Shipped at least 1 AAA title
- Background in Computing Science or Engineering
- Experience working with remote studios and contractors
- Experience writing high level technical designs
- Experience shipping console game titles including dealing with first party certification processes

The estimated base pay range for this role is:
$120,000—$158,000 USD
