Senior Technical Marketing Manager, Demo

Unity’s Demo team creates real-time projects (cinematics and interactive) intended to represent the highest level of quality that can be achieved with the Unity real-time 3D platform with a special attention to graphics. Our projects include award-winning short films such as: The Heretic (2020), Book of the Dead (2018) and Adam (2016).

As a small team consisting primarily of senior artists and developers, the Demo team works autonomously within Unity and is led by the vision and strategy of Creative Director Veselin Efremov. The team uses the latest in Unity’s technology development and research, innovating on what the Unity engine is capable of.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Content Marketing Manager who will help us become better at sharing the takeaways we gain from our internal content productions with the broad community of Unity customers. Our team is located at Unity’s offices in Stockholm and in Copenhagen.

What you’ll be doing

• Work alongside the creative team on Demo productions in progress, in any capacity you feel comfortable contributing with (e.g. technical art, programming, general Unity development, project wrangling)
• Create and host compelling presentations, workshops, video content or other approaches to make it easy for Unity's community to learn and understand production practices and workflows for creating high-end content
• Collaborate and partner with various Marketing teams inside Unity to drive the internal and external communication around Demo projects, and coordinate the campaigns around project releases and associated content
• Engage online and offline with our broader community about our Demo productions, and offer support and guidance around our published projects
• Represent the work of the team at between 4 and 8 international industry events per year

What we’re looking for

• Experience using Unity or another real-time engine as an artist, developer, or other relevant exposure related to content production
• Curiosity for building and engaging with the creator community, and deep understanding of their day to day struggles, needs, and culture
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to digest complex or deeply technical information and serve it in accessible, understandable and structured ways, both through hands-on demonstration, in video, in writing or via other mediums
• An understanding of marketing campaign planning and execution, community management, or similar applicable experience
