About the Role
Twitch Tax is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to be part of and contribute to our dynamic business. The Tax Senior will be an important contributor to the Tax Team and will manage the indirect tax function of the Tax Department. You will report to the Senior Tax Manager.
As Twitch continues to grow its live streaming platform with our amazing social community, we are looking for a candidate with project management experience who will support and grow our unique social community with your technical tax knowledge with cross functional teams.
You Will:
- Partner with internal business partners on the review and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax, value-added tax, digital service tax and goods & service tax in multiple foreign, state and local jurisdictions
- Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliation of transaction upload reports to revenue reports, and reconciliation of indirect tax accounts for financial reporting
- Support foreign and domestic indirect tax audits by working closely with internal personnel
- Provide guidance to different business partners and revenue partners within the company on recent tax legislation
- Partner with the Tax Team to respond to tax inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal departments
- Help with annual 1099 and 1042 informational reporting
- Maintain and expand knowledge of applicable tax laws and accounting rules
- Support different system implementation projects
- Help with other ad hoc projects
You Have:
- BA/BS Degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, economics or related field
- CPA or MS in Tax
- Experience in an ERP environment (NetSuite, SAP & Oracle)
- 4+ years of experience in tax (Big 4 or Tech Industry)
- Proficiency in productivity tools (Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace)
- Proficiency with tax research tools (CCH, RIA, and BNA)
